Characteristics of Gravity

Gravity doesn't just pick on you - it selects everyone. We all have to fight Gravity or let it rule our lives.

According to this law, if a person jumps off the ground, he or she will immediately fall to the ground. There are no exceptions to this law or principle. For this law the president of the America, a cashier at the bank, a famous movie star or you are just the same. It doesn't matter if it's a day or night or what the weather is. The law doesn't stop working just because it's a Diwali today or you birthday. The law is impersonal and operates regardless of the situation, time of year, or the people involved.

Gravity is an invisible force that holds us to the surface. It can’t be seen, touched, heard, or smelled. But it can be felt. We experience it as an energy force that holds us back and not let us move forward to do anything.

We locate Gravity into others, like parents, partners, kids, employees, boss, job, or even in the road cleaning person. We often say “I wanted to do, but my parents did not let do me it”, “If my boss change I will do better job”. But the most detrimental form of Gravity comes from within. It is the enemy within.

We are wrong if we don’t begin to value differences and respect others views or unwillingness to take help from others or doing it all by ourselves. Everybody needs help from his buddy. Find buddy and get along with him. United we stand and divided we fall - just like the Roman Empire.

Sitting on a bench, fearful to take an action or thinking to take action tomorrow, we’ll not get to anywhere. Destiny is determined in moments of decision - not indecision.

Self-doubt is good. It shows love, love of something you want to do. If you find yourself asking “Can I do it? How can I do it?” chances are you that want it.

Fear is good too. Use fear as an indicator. Fear tells you what you have to do. Remember, courage is not the absence of fear; it is the ability to feel the fear and do it anyway.

Procrastination is the basically the bad habit of putting off until tomorrow what should have been done yesterday.

This is also known as ignorance. It means the inability to perform; a lack of competence. We must return to the days of learning and must take actions for our self development and make what is unfamiliar, familiar; what is unknown, known. The more you know the batter you will be. What you don’t know will kill you.

This breeds self-contempt and self-deception. When insecure, we become resentful and, at times, hateful of others. But these emotions are mostly born from a dislike, ego and proud of ourselves.

We as a human beings are really good at self-deception, lying to ourselves about people, place, things and events.

Can you imagine an inconsistent airplane engine or breaks on your car that sometimes work and other times don’t? That which is “sometimes” is “always”. Your heart doesn’t know what inconsistency is. Neither your brain. Don’t be stupid by inconsistency as a part of process or progress.

High at finish line
The danger is greatest when the finish line is in sight. At this point, Gravity knows we are about to beat it. It hits the panic button. First it will make you over confident and then will pull you so hard that you will make a crash landing and lose everything.

Can be defeated
If Gravity couldn't be defeated, there would be no man stepped on moon or Top of Mount Everest. There would be no Taj Mahal or no freedom out of our Independence Movement. Build your confidence that you can defeat it. If it defeats you, which it will from time to time, simply pick yourself up and take it on again tomorrow.

You don’t have to love what you do; but you have to love the opportunity.

You have to love what you do, that’s what people say. But that's not necessarily true. What is true is that you have to love the opportunity - the opportunity to build your life, your future, your health, your relationship, your success.

Knocking on the door may not be something you love to do, but you love the opportunity of what might be behind it.

Before you are tempted to give up or get discouraged, remember that all success is based on long-term commitment, faith, discipline, attitude and a few stepping stones along the way. You might not like the stone you are on right now, but it's sure to be one of the stones that lead to great opportunities in the future.
